Whosoever

Jhn 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Yes, this verse is taken out by itself and I am not giving you a full presentation in context.I pulled it up on blueletterbible.org. in the King James Version, which is their default version.
This word " whosoever" is quite controversial in many circles, and arguments about freewill and grace that cannot be resisted, seem to avoid the God as the first mover in any relationship with man. God loved, God gave, we then have the opportunity to believe. Throughout scripture, man is called upon to "choose." God allowed for choice to be part of man's relationship to God. "Whosoever" excludes none, but includes all as possible believers. Will all believe? No. Will Rob
Bell's belief that "love will win out" stand scrutiny.No.
I do invite you to read John 3:16 in context, starting around 3:14 and going to the end of the chapter. See if you find yourself represented in or offended by these words of Jesus.
Repent.
Future posts will not use the KJV, but I will choose 1 version and stick to it for purposes of clarity. Questions are welcomed. I am not a theologian, but will do my best.
